Freddie Gibbs Shares New Video off Freddie
“Death Row” is directed by Trevor Penick and shot by Miggy, and sees Freddie rapping at a breakneck pace alongside enigmatic LA rapper 03 Greedo.
The track, which was co-produced by Gibbs’ producer alter ego Freddie Kane and Kenny Beats, is one of the standout songs from Gibbs’ surprise project Freddie, which he released in June via ESGN Records and Empire. The project saw the Gary, Indiana rapper reinvigorating the trap music formula with new flows, taking his sound into a new musical direction while he and Madlib are busy working on the follow up to their 2014 album Piñata, which became an instant-classic upon its release.
In addition to the new video, Gibbs is announcing a new run of tour dates in support of his latest project. Launching on November 16th in Chicago, Freddie will play 19 dates across North America before concluding on December 15th in Seattle.
