Fred The Godson’s Wife Provides An Update On His Condition Since Coronavirus Diagnosis

by Yellah Bone

Fred The Godson’s wife speaks out regarding his current condition.

Earlier this week, Fred The Godson took to Instagram to inform his fans that he was admitted to the hospital due to contracting coronavirus. In his post, Fred kept the dialogue short and sweet – simply asking fans for prayers.

Now his wife, LeeAnn Jemott, has come forward with an update on the Bronx rapper’s condition, which declined quite rapidly. Initially, Jemott was unsure if her husband would be able to pull through. On Wednesday, she told News 12, “It was just like, he’s gone and he’s gonna die, that’s it. I don’t even know how I felt, I just felt like I was going to die.”

Later that afternoon, Jemott revealed that Fred’s condition was slightly improving, “Now, instead of the ventilator supporting him 100 percent, it’s supporting him 70 percent.”

On Thursday, Jemott told XXL that Fred The Godson is currently on a ventilator and receiving dialysis, but his health is slowly improving, “Fred is currently in the ICU. He is Cov-19 positive on a ventilator. However, he is progressing!”

“He went in having difficulty breathing on Monday evening (April 6). Tuesday morning (April 7), I received a call he was not going to make it because his lungs were not working. He was then put on a ventilator, and as of today (24 hours later), the doctors already weaned him down from 100 percent support to 40 percent support of ventilation.”

Jemmott added, “He is fighting and he is winning. He has no sign of infection. His heart is strong and working well. His kidneys have been affected, but as of today, he has started dialysis to clean the toxins out of his blood. Fred is going to make it. God is good!”

Stay tuned for updates on Fred’s condition.
