Foxy Brown’s rep quits.

Foxy Brown is facing a potential lawsuit for skipping out on a performance at at designer LaQuan Smith’s New York Fashion Week after-party. Brown was paid $10,000 for the gig, but showed up to the venue and refused to perform. Now, her longtime publicist, Lizzy Grubman, has resigned in the midst of the drama.

Around 2:00 a.m., an intoxicated Brown reportedly arrived to the after-party slurring and refusing to perform. VIPS in attendance at the party included Winnie Harlow, Kelly Rowland, and La La Anthony. Brown was slated to perform alongside Diddy’s son, Christian Combs.

Page Six TV co-host Bevy Smith was allegedly hanging out wit Brown before the incident occurred and said that “[Brown] was very excited about the fact that she had the new single out with Nicki [Minaj]. She was in a good mood.” Other sources claimed that the “Ill Na Na” rapper was “falling over people.”

Smith says it was possible that Brown had a wardrobe malfunction, “She had a wardrobe mishap… [a designer] sent her two shoes for the same foot. She was in 6-[inch] heel boots that would lace up to the knee… so she was kind of hobbling around, but we were talking and laughing.” Smith did not attend the after-party.

Promoters are now threatening to sue Brown unless she gives back the money.

Grubman confirmed to Page Six that she resigned. She declined to comment any further.
