We haven’t heard much from P-Dice, born Justin Pope, since he parted ways with Fetty Wap’s Remy Boyz crew. But unfortunately, he has made national headlines, and not because he’s dropping tunes.

According to the Patterson Press, P-Dice has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, weapons offenses and possession of a defaced firearm. The charges stem from a shooting that occurred on February 29, in which a 7 year old boy was hit by a stray bullet. Authorities haven’t revealed what evidence led to his arrest, however, the victim’s family is ecstatic that an arrest has been made.

Diana Irizarri, the boy’s mother, stated, “I’m so excited. My whole family is happy about this. I give props to the Paterson Police Department. They did their job.” Irizarri’s son has since recovered from his injuries, but his mother has made sure to move her family away from Rosa Parks Boulevard, where the incident took place. The street has a history of gun violence.
