It’s always nice to see an artist return to their hometown and give back to the community. Fetty Wap may be at the prime of his career, but he knows where he came from. On August 27, the “Trap Queen” rapper and his entire RGF Production squad will hold a free back to school concert at Bauerle’s Field for 1,200 Paterson high school students from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Seating is limited and tickets will be served on a first come first serve basis on August 24 starting at 7:30 a.m. at Pennington Park to students with a school ID.

The event is being set up by Mayor Jose “Joey” Torress who stated, “The world is paying tribute to him, so why can’t we? This is all about wishes coming true. This is an urban rags-to-riches story. It doesn’t get better than this.”

Fetty recently announced that he will be releasing his debut album on September 25 via 300 Entertainment.
