How dope would a joint album with Fetty Wap and Young Thug be? Right now, they are two of the hottest rappers on the music radar so it would definitely be well received. During a recent interview with CliqueTV, the “Instant Friend” rapper discussed everything from growing up in Patterson, New Jersey, to Gucci Mane being one of his biggest musical influences, and his work ethics.
Known to hastily pen a track in record-breaking time, Fetty stated, “It don’t really take that long for me to do a song. In like three hours I probably make like four or five songs. If I just do hooks, I could probably make like ten songs in an hour. Like all hooks, no verses, and the adlibs. And I’m talking about final, not a rough draft, a final.”
When Clique asked Fetty how long he thought it would take to record an album Young Thug (who is also known to release a great amount of music in a short period of time), he replied, “Probably a night.”
As far as if the two will actually work together, Fetty stated, “He don’t push the issue, I don’t push the issue. We’re just two artists that really f*ck with each other. So when the time comes, we’ll get down to it.”
