Another teen’s death has been streamed on Facebook Live.

Police are looking for a suspect after a 19 year old teen was shot and killed near his home while on Facebook Live. On Tuesday, around 6:45 p.m., police were dispatched to the corner of Elton Street and New Lots Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, where they found Jeremiah Dickey unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

Dickey was transported to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The shooter is currently still on the loose. Jeremiah’s mother, Debra Dickey, told CNN, “I shouldn’t have to be sitting here sobbing while they’re still out there running free.” Debra described her son as a loving kid with a good heart who loved doing things for others.

According to the now deleted Facebook Live video, Jeremiah was seen rapping along to a song inside a vehicle for about 35 seconds. Dickey suddenly takes a pause to look around, before five gunshots are heard. Dickey’s phone then falls and goes black. Brooklyn rapper, Bizzy Banks’ song “30” continued to play in the background.

Dickey’s sister, Melissa Dickey, told The New York Daily News, “I don’t know what happened. I have no idea who did this to him.”

A spokesperson for Facebook released the following statement, “This is a terrible incident and our thoughts are with the victim and his loved ones.”

An investigation is ongoing.
