Eric Bellinger – Yikes (Tory Lanez Diss)

Eric Bellinger, who is famous for his R&B ballads, switches lanes on his diss record “Yikes.” Yikes is a fight track dissing Tory Lanez, suggesting, “Your only talent is mimicking anyone that’s talented.” Some might state that Bellinger went straight for the juggler attacking every claim to fame that Tory credits. Although most diss records are backed with hard core combat beats, Yikes unveils just the opposite reminding listeners of Bellinger’s R&B essence.

Bellinger insightfully begins the diss recalling his own success as an artist throughout difficult challenges and remaining positive along the way. With lyrical bullets, he delivers a climax shooting at Tory’s lack of talent, lack of success, and lack of fame. Bellinger delivers his finishing move “I’m just signed to myself like J”, to antagonize Tory even further.

Is Yikes the start of a new trend in the music industry amongst artists, regardless of genres? Will we see more notable R&B artists come to the forefront with diss records? Is this the end, or will Tory come back at Bellinger?
