J.Cole sent social media in yet another frenzy this week once he announced the official release date for the Dreamville compilation project – Revenge of The Dreamers III – set to release Friday, July 5, 2019.
In addition to fulfilling the innermost desires of all the Dreamers worldwide, the announcement also encompassed another set of singles from a prelude-project entitled ROTD3.com featuring “Costa Rica” and “Lambo Truck“.
J.I.D, Bas, GuapDad4000, Reese LaFallare, Jace, Mez, SmokePurp, Buddy and Ski Mask The Slumpgod delivered an array of brazen, unapologetic lyrics that evoke an assertive appeal on the Costa Rica record, while Lambo Truck called on Dreamville’s Cozz and TDE’s REASON to amplify the provocative mindset of a natural-born finesser to say the least.
Galvanizing enough momentum to carry over the remainder of this year, Dreamville has also premiered “REVENGE: A Dreamville Film” — a 30 minute short visual that catalogs the sounds and experiences of what went into the making of the upcoming compilation album.
The film highlights what really went down, the creative process (at times competitive) and who all made it into the secretive recording process at the legendary Tree Sound Studios in Atlanta, GA.
