Drakeo The Ruler Drops New Music Following His Release From Prison

Last week, Drakeo The Ruler was granted long overdue freedom. Picking up right where he left off, the Stinc Team frontman is back in grind mode, dropping off a new single and music video.

Merely four days after being released from prison, the Los Angeles rapper unearths the video for “Fights Don’t Matter,” a track from his upcoming album We Know The Truth.

The video finds Drakeo in his most comfortable state, counting up wads of cash with the homies. Whether he’s dishing out double entendres or sending 33 shots because fights don’t matter, Drakeo’s inaudible delivery supports his reserved disposition – he’s in a celebratory mood, but has no intentions of letting his guard down.

Naturally, Drakeo’s infectious work ethic managed to outshine the shadow cast by his controversial prison sentence. Despite having his lyrics used in court to prosecute him, Drakeo recorded one of his most acclaimed releases to date, Thank You for Using GTL. A entire project recorded over the Global Tel Link (GTL) telecom system — from the confinement of a California-based corrections system —  the 19-track album covers the struggles Drakeo had to endure as a result of the unjust judicial system.

A man hellbent on keeping momentum alive by narrating truth on beats, Drakeo The Ruler is home and a new album is underway.
