Well what do you know? After a series of rants and disses from Meek Mill, Drake finally steps up to the plate and responds to Meek. The response Drake gave on the whole situation was a pretty clever one if you ask me. Drizzy took to his Instagram via direct messages to address the shade thrown at him with his friend Hitman Holla, which real name is Gerald Fulton Jr. Apparently Drake didn’t have to show the response, because his friend Hitman posted the screen shot of the conversation between him and Drake.
While chopping it up through direct message Hitman said to Drake “I see da foolishness, You know me and Showw not buying it. You our guy. Keep killing. You motivate n—as like us.” Then he went on to quote some of Drizzy’s lines from “5 AM in Toronto,” writing “I show love, never get the same out of n***as / I guess it’s funny how money can make change out of n***as, for real.” Drake then acknowledged the Missouri battle rapper by typing up 3 praying emoji’s, then continued on saying: “I signed up for greatness. This comes with it.”
As you can see, Drake doesn’t have time to be beefing over social media by the way he responded on the issue, but will this be the end of the social media war? Or does the OVO general have something up his sleeve to get back at Meek Mill? We’ll have to let time tell, until then check out the screen shot from the conversation below.
