The past couple of years have been tumultuous for DMX, who has battled a number of medical issues, and a slew of legal woes. However, X hasn’t let any of his issues stop from what he does best… perform. Now, I’m all for getting your coin by any means necessary, but X’s most recent booking blew me away. This Saturday, X is set to perform at House Nightclub in Miami, which is known to attract a strong LGBT crowd.
I personally don’t care if your straight, gay, or bi-sexual, but DMX has made it quite clear in the past that he doesn’t agree with the homosexual lifestyle. In his song, “Where The Hood At”, X rapped, “I show no love, to homo thugs/Empty out, reloaded, and throw more slugs/How you gonna explain f*ckin’ a man?/Even if we squashed the beef, I ain’t touchin ya hand”. That was back in 2003, maybe X has become more accepting since then.
Either way, he will be the opening at for the Art Walk event. You heard right, X will not be the headliner, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne will be. Jayne sings, and will perform from 11:05 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.
