DJ Khaled documented his son’s birth on Snapchat.
DJ Khaled is a dad! On Sunday, Khaled and his fiancee, Nicole Tuck, welcomed their son into the world. As expected, the king of Snapchat recorded parts of the birth process for his 6 million followers to see. Although Khaled gave a full display of Tuck’s hospital room, he was respectful – never showing Tuck’s face, nor his son’s.
While fans didn’t get to witness the actual birth, Khaled did allow everyone to hear his son’s cries. Minutes after his son’s birth, Khaled cried tears of joy and relief. Via Instagram, Khaled expressed his excitement and thankfulness, writing, “All praise to the most high. I love you son …. Bless up.”
Khaled’s rep’s have confirmed to PEOPLE that his son’s name is Asahd Tuck, “Ashad” means lion in Arabic. Ashad weighed in at a healthy 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and 21.5 inches long.
