Sorry ladies, but J. Cole is off the market! The Roc Nation rapper is getting married to his college sweetheart Melissa Heholt. After much success from his third studio album 2014 Forest Hill Drive, J. Cole, real name Jermaine Lemarr Cole, has a lot to celebrate. The couple met as freshmen at St. John’s University in Queens, NY, and has been dating for six years.
The official Twitter account of Cole’s alma mater, retweeted a tweet which read, “Congrats to @JColeNC on his engagement to his @StJohnsU college sweetheart #SJU #ColeWorld.” J. Cole has addressed his relationship with Heholt in interviews, but was always careful to never spill too many details.
It’s good to see that past rumors of him getting a side chick named Bria pregnant are false.
