“Queen of the hooks” is gearing up to release a new project tomorrow. Via Instagram, in the form of a video, the 24 year old Detroit native announced that she would be dropping a new mixtape, All Jokes Aside, writing, “I’ve Been Taking Care Of Business. 4.6.16 #ALLJOKESASIDE ✨💛👑 The Mixtape!”.
The video teased a new song titled, “Vibes”, where Lil Loaf rapped “Tell that nig*a bye bye baby. See you later. Goodbye. Rockabye baby. Rockabye. I don’t want him no more, he ain’t my baby. Vibes. Vibes… Don’t get her started. I’ve been on my business sh*t. I’ve been taking care of business, b*tch.”
This will be DeJ’s first release since her #AndSeeThatsTheThing EP, which was released last July. In March, DeJ also released a music video for her song “Desire” off of the EP. While fans anxiously waited for another collection of hits from DeJ, she continued to stay busy even dropping a song with her boo Lil Durk, titled “My Beyonce”. She was also recently named one of the new faces of M.A.C.
