This summer belonged to Drake; however, one of the biggest new artist to dethrone the chart-topping King this summer was Dallas, Texas recording artist known as Yella Beezy. Reaching gold with his debut single, “That’s on Me” and number-one on Urban Radio, Yella Beezy has become Hip-Hop’s next new artist. On Sunday, CBS-affiliate Dallas Morning News reported that Yella Beezy was the victim of a drive-by shooting, suffering dozen gunshot wounds.
Identified by birth name Deandre Conway, Police say Yella Beezy was driving on the Sam Rayburn Tollway when another car pulled up alongside his and a passenger began to fire inside the vehicle. Beezy was found wounded along State Highway 121 around 3:30 a.m. Rushed to near by hospital, Yella Beezy is in stable condition and expected to make a full recovery.
Throughout 2018, Yella Beezy has received recognition from Hip-Hop’s biggest acts, including Drake, Lil Baby, and more. Yella Beezy is slated to release his debut album, ‘Ain’t No Goin Back’, November 9th via PMGEnt. Yella Beezy release his new single, “Favors” several weeks ago.
