Ciara, 29, and Russell Wilson, 26, made their first public appearance at the White House State Dinner yesterday. It was originally rumored that Wilson would be bringing Ciara as his guest for this past weekend’s Correspondent’s Dinner, however, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback brought his grandmother.
The “I Bet” singer joined the superbowl champion for the dinner which honored Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, and they looked absolutely fabulous together. Ciara looked flawless in a champagne-colored, halter top gown, that hugged her fit body perfectly. Wilson looked quite dapper in a black tuxedo.
The lovebirds seemed very happy together posing for pictures and holding hands. This is the first time Ciara has been publicly spotted out with another man since her breakup with her ex-fiance and child’s father, Future. The two split last August.
E! reports, “It’s still at the beginning stages and it’s very fresh. She thinks he is a complete gentleman and has really enjoyed hanging out with him these past few weeks. It’s constant laughter and fun with them.”
A recently divorced Wilson is gearing up to sign a contract that will make him the highest paid player in the NFL. Ciara is on her way to a musical comeback with her album Jackie that is set to be released May 4.
