Chris Brown, 25, was performing his hit “Loyal” at the Fiesta nightclub in San Jose, California early Sunday morning when shots rang out around 1:20 a.m. Brown was performing for a VIP birthday event for several people including his manager. Fortunately, neither Brown nor his girlfriend Karrueche, who was also in attendance were injured. However, four people were rushed to the hospital, while one victim left and showed up at the emergency room later.
It is unclear whether the shooting took place inside or outside of the club. Police have detained several people, but no arrests have been made. The motive of the shooting is still unknown.
All of the victims are expected to live.
