Chris Brown Banned From Leaving The Philippines

It seems like Chris Brown is making headlines every other day, and the news is always horrible. Yesterday, the 26 year old “New Flame” singer was banned from leaving the Philippines as he was preparing to depart on a private jet from Manila’s international airport on his way to Hong Kong for a concert.

On Tuesday, the Philippine’s Department of Justice put in an order to stop Brown, who was performing in Manila that evening, from making any attempts to leave the country. The order was issued as a result of Brown failing to pay back money he owed a concert promoter after missing a scheduled show last New Year’s Eve in Bulacan. Brown’s promoter John Michael Pio Roda was banned from leaving as well.

Both Brown and Roda could seek a clearance certificate that could allow them to leave if the Department of Justice consented.

This news comes shortly after reports surfaced of Chris Brown’s aunt being held at gunpoint during a invasion at his San Fernando Valley home.
