Over the past few months Chris Brown has been working hard on his seventh studio album, Royalty. Originally, the album was set to drop on Black Friday on November 27th, but due to a minor setback fans will have to wait just a little bit longer. The 26 year old “Fine China” singer recently sat down for a interview with Nessa from Hot 97 and announced that Royalty would hit shelves December 18th, but would be available for pre-order along with the unveiling of the tracklist and snippets. So far, Breezy has released three tracks in support of the upcoming album, “Liquor”, “Zero”, and “Gravity”.

Brown told Nessa, “On Black Friday, the pre-orders will be there. But the real date is gonna be December 18th. It’s a new start, it’s like I’m tryna prove myself again- that I can consistently make good music. For me, with my daughter and most of the records that I make that are more sexual…that’s how my daughter was made! I wouldn’t change my whole regimen of how I move and how I act as far as music-wise. Some songs would be more conscious about love-making and other songs will be right to the nitty-gritty and dirty. Different environments have time for different things.”
