Chinx may not be here with us physically, but his legacy will live on forever. Three months after Chinx’s untimely death, his first posthumous album, Welcome To JFK was released. It peaked at number 21 on the Billboard 200 chart, and number 2 on Billboard’s top rap albums chart.
The new collection of music was bittersweet for fans, while they were happy to support his career and carry on his legacy, they couldn’t help but feel heavyhearted that it would be his last release. But #TeamChinx doesn’t have to fret anymore. Yesterday, Chinx’s label, Entertainment One Music, announced that Chinx’s second posthumous album, Legends Never Die, will make it debut on all musical platforms on June 3.
The album’s supporting single, “For the Love” featuring Meet Sims has already been released, and more promotion surrounding the project is soon to come.
