Chicago driller Chief Keef is coming off the release of his Sorry 4 The Weight mixtape that dropped earlier this year. It seem’s as Chief Almighty has another trick up his sleeve after recently taking to his social media, Instagram and Twitter, to announce a new album in the works entitled “The Cozart”. The title leads me to believe that Keef is really highly inspired by rap phenom Lil Wayne. Keef has already referenced his Sorry 4 The Weight mixtape to Wayne’s Sorry For The Wait Project, and his upcoming album title “The Cozart,” looks like he’s trying to start his version of Tha Carter series.
The Glo Gang boss did mention in a tweet that Lil Wayne inspired him and even tweeted Wayne personally Stating: “@liltunechi I need you on Tha Cozart”. The new album is bad news to the fans seeing that Sosa still hasn’t released previous projects Bang 3, Mansion Musick, and Thot Breaker. Will Keef release this project? I guess we will have to wait to find out, Chief hasn’t been keeping his word on previous releases so lets see what happens.
