Is Cardi B back on the market?
Earlier this month, Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset, citing the marriage was “irretrievably broken” and that “there are no prospects for a reconciliation.” While Offset has cheated on his wife in the past, Cardi says that is not why she has decided to call it quits.
Following the shocking news, the “WAP” rapper took to OnlyFans and opened up about what led her to file for divorce, “You cannot hurt my feelings trying to throw the divorce in my face because, at the end of the day, I decided I wanted to leave. I didn’t wait until he cheated on me again, I didn’t wait [for] another controversy with him being involved. I decided to leave. If I wanted to stay, I could have stayed. I decided to leave.”
It’s only been a couple of weeks since Cardi announced her split from Offset, but she has already received plenty of messages on Instagram from men and women shooting their shot. Cardi admitted, “My DMs are flooded. I don’t actually want to date nobody. I’m so focused on my business that it’s crazy.”
Cardi B went on to let her fans know that there is no bad blood between she and Set, “I don’t have a bad relationship with my baby father. At all, I don’t have no hatred towards him. And I don’t wish him nothing bad and I know that he feels the same way about me.”
According to court documents, Cardi is seeking joint custody of she and Offset’s 2 year old daughter, Kulture. Initially, Cardi filed for primary custody. They are due in court November 4.
Cardi and Offset tied the knot in 2017.
