Baby Kulture was so close to making her debut to the world.

Last night, the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards took place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, and was hosted by Cardi B, who has remained low key since giving birth to she and Offset’s bundle of joy, baby Kulture.

Donned in a red, custom made Azzi & Osta dress, Cardi turned heads as she made her way across the stage with a pink bundle in her arms, which appeared to be her newborn daughter. Kulture has yet to make her debut, so fans were ecstatic to finally get a sneak peek. Little did they know, Cardi had a trick up her sleeve. After delivering her speech, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper revealed that she was actually holding a Moon Person.

Prior to opening the show, Cardi won her first award for song of the summer. Later into the night, she won best collaboration with Jennifer Lopez and DJ Khaled for “Dinero.” During her acceptance speech she stated, “I’m so happy to receive this award. A couple of months ago a lot of people were saying, ‘You’re gambling your career! You’re about to have a baby, what are you doing?’ And you know, I carried the baby, I had the baby, and now I’m still winning awards!” In addition, Cardi won best new artist.

Cardi B recently pulled out of Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic World tour to focus on motherhood, and healing physically and mentally.
