Cardi B will be joining the cast of “Being Mary Jane.”
Congratulations are in order for Cardi B! The 23 year old Dominican/Trinidadian beauty has added acting to her resume. Season 4 of “Being Mary Jane” will premiere in January on BET, and Cardi has snagged a role on the popular show.
TV Line reports that Cardi will portray a woman named Mercedes, who is a “round-the-way beauty with a big weave, big boobs and a big booty to match her over-sized, ratchet personality.” Other guest stars set to appear on the show include Senator Cory Booker and Vanessa Angel.
This year has proved to be pretty successful for Cardi. When she’s not filming for “Love and Hip Hop: New York”, she’s in the studio working on new tunes. Back in September she dropped her “Underestimated” project, and has since booked a number of appearances and shows.
