Cardi B opens up about her first date with fiance Offset.
Following the release of her debut studio album, Invasion Of Privacy, Cardi B is on a press run to promote the new project. Yesterday, during an interview with Ebro In The Morning, the Bronx rapstress opened up about her first encounter with Migos’ Offset.
“We met here in New York. They invited me to an album release party for they project. You know like I don’t really have people in the industry, so my label was like ‘you need to interact with artist’ and as soon as he saw me, he was just talking to me, he was just like ‘my girl I liked you for a long time,’ and he hit up my friend like ‘ I wanna meet her and everything’.”
“I was a little skeptical because I was a stripper and I heard stories. Not about him but how rappers are and how they play with people.”
Aside from her career, Cardi recently announced that she and Offset are expecting their first child together. After months of speculation, the “Be Careful” rapper showed off her baby bump during her Saturday Night Live debut earlier this week.
