Broccoli City Festival Enlists Star-Studded Lineup For Its Return To ‘Chocolate City’

Broccoli City Festival 2020

Broccoli City Festival is back and spared no details with unveiling a stellar lineup.

The eighth annual edition of festival merit with a heightened awareness for blending civic engagement and music makes it welcomed return to the nation’s capital.

Broccoli City Festival 2020 returns to the newly developed RFK Campus in Washington, D.C on Saturday May 9, 2020 featuring performances by DaBaby, Roddy Ricch, Megan Thee Stallion, Burna Boy, Ari Lennox, Doja Cat, Lucky Daye, IDK and Soulection.

Beyond the music, festival attendees will have the opportunity to become immersed in “authentic spaces” that uplift black empowerment and promote a forward-thinking approach on collective erudition through artistic expression. In partnership with Live Nation Urban, this year’s festival is far more than a commemorative occurence to embrace black culture – Broccoli City Festival 2020 is about the black experience and what many facets pervade its unique existence.

At a time like this, it’s imperative for us to protect these spaces and encourage one another to make their voices heard, which is why our return to Washington, D.C. is so important. Not only does this move symbolize a return to WHERE we started, it’s also symbolic of our return to the root of WHY we started — to educate, equip and mobilize millennials to build thriving urban communities that sustain future generations.”

Brandon McEachern and Marcus Allen, Founders of Broccoli City Festival

Whether it’s the highly-anticipated performance from Grammy-nominated talent DaBaby or Burna Boy’s intercontinental sway for semantics and lyrical intellect – Spring couldn’t arrive any sooner, as we can only count the number of days until festive jollity returns.

Mark your calendars now, tickets go on sale tomorrow (Friday, January 24, 2020) at 10:00AM (EST) exclusively via www.BCFestival.com.
