[BREAKING] YNW Melly Tests Positive For COVID-19

YNW Melly has contracted the COVID-19.

Things have gone from bad to worse for YNW Melly. The “Murder On My Mind” rapper, 20, who is currently incarcerated at Broward County Jail, has tested positive for coronavirus.

YNW Melly’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, confirmed the shocking news on Friday to FOX News, “I can confirm he has tested positive for COVID-19 and I am moving for an emergency release for medical treatment.”

“The jails and prisons across the country need to be prepared for what I anticipate is an explosion of cases across the country. In anticipation, they should be provided heightened medical facilities and have contingency plans for immediate prisoner movement.”

Cohen went on to add that “without better protocol, this will be an extremely dangerous and deadly situation.”

Melly is currently awaiting trial for a double murder, in which he allegedly killed his two friends, Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas Jr. in 2018. Melly has pleaded not guilty.
