Pop Smoke’s party has come to an end.
Early Friday morning, Pop Smoke was arrested for interstate transport of a stolen vehicle. Apparently, Pop was taken into custody at at JFK Airport after returning from Paris Fashion Week.
The vehicle in question is a 2019 Rolls-Royce Wraith. Back in November, the “Welcome To The Party” rapper borrowed the car from it’s owner in California for a video shoot. At the time, Pop and the owner agreed that he would return the car the following day.
In exchange for the favor, Pop Smoke reportedly told the owner he would give him VIP treatment at a future show. After failing to return the car, the owner reported it stolen after GPS tracked it to Arizona.
In December, the owner of the Rolls-Royce noticed the car in a post on Pop’s Instagram page. The photo was later deleted.
Pop Smoke is set to be arraigned this afternoon in Brooklyn Federal Court.
