Juice WRLD’s autopsy results are in.

On December 8, Juice WRLD suddenly passed away, leaving the music industry shocked and heartbroken. Now, almost two months later, the Cook County Medical Examiner has revealed that Juice, born Jarad Anthony Higgins, died “as a result of oxycodone and codeine toxicity.” Juice WRLD’s death has been ruled an accident.

The 21 year old “Lucid Dreams” rapper suffered a seizure after landing at Chicago’s Midway International Airport. Juice had reportedly left California on a private jet and was heading home to Chicago when things went left.

Upon arriving at the airport, federal agents were called in to search Juice’s jet and luggage for guns and drugs after receiving a tip from the pilot. Authorities discovered 70 pounds of marijuana, six bottles of prescription codeine cough syrup, two 9 mm pistols, a .40-caliber pistol, a high-capacity ammunition magazine and metal-piercing bullets.

Juice’s girlfriend, Alicia Deon, better known as Ally Lotti on social media, told airport authorities that he “let out a gasp and collapsed to the ground.” Deon also noted that Juice didn’t have any medical issues prior to suffering the fatal seizure. However, Leon made it clear that he suffered from a year long battle with Percocet addiction.

During the search, Juice WRLD allegedly swallowed a handful of pills, leading to his demise. He was administered Narcan, a medication used to counter the effects of opioid overdose, which proved to be unsuccessful. When paramedics arrived, Juice was bleeding from his nose and mouth. He was later transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at approximately 3:14 a.m.
