Rapper and actor Shad Moss, 27, previously known as “Bow Wow” and sexy Love and Hip Hop New York star Erica Mena, 28, decided to share some beautiful photos of their engagement before tying the knot this June. For a while, no one knew the couple was even dating. Moss popped the question back in September. Mena has been flaunting her 20 carat solitaire ring on her Instagram (@IamErica_Mena) ever since.
Moss proposed to Mena after only dating her for six monthes. However, the two lovebirds seem sincerely infatuated with each other. The two have known each other for a long time, and have worked together over the years. Last February they reunited on Moss‘ show on BET called “106 & Park” where they shared an on-camera kiss that ignited the beginning of their relationship.
The duo took their engagement photos on a desert in Apple Valley, California on February 6. I must admit, the photos are enticing. Moss stated about his fiance “We noticed we had a lot in common and just took it day by day. You know how it goes, you text one day, then start texting every day. She’s very smart, silly, knows how to hustle. And she’s electrifying. Anytime you have all of that in a woman, what more could you want?” How sweet is that? Maybe Mena has truly cleaned up her act and found the right one.
Mena has confirmed that we won’t be seeing her boo thang on Love and Hip Hop New York, however, they are considering a marriage spin-off.
