Bobbi Kristina Brown’s funeral is scheduled for this upcoming Saturday, August 1, at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Methodist Church in Atlanta. The burial service will be held next Monday, August 3 in New Jersey. She will be buried next to her mother in New Jersey’s Fairview Cemetery. Both services will be private.

Director Tyler Perry, who was a longtime friend of Whitney Houston, said he will “take care of everything” in order to “keep the peace” between the Brown and Houston families. The two families have been feuding over money and legal issues, as well as a deathbed photo leak of Bobbi Kristina. Bobbi Kristina’s body will be transported from Atlanta to New Jersey on Perry’s private jet. In a 2015 interview, Oprah revealed, “Tyler has been really close to the family. Tyler was really supportive of Whitney when she had her troubles. He intervened and tried to help her, and I know that he’s been instrumental in trying to help Bobbi Kristina, too.”

Bobbi Kristina’s cousin, Jerod Brown, has revealed that Bobbi was considering suicide shortly before being found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Georgia home on January 31. Jerod stated, “She was very depressed. She would call me often and say she was dealing with her mom’s death. We talked about suicide and I would talk her down from it, explaining it wasn’t the right thing to do. I had been there myself, so I would talk to her about it and we would get her through it.”

He continued, “I told her she had more to live for and her mother wouldn’t have wanted that. But her mind was that of a depressed woman. Whitney was her best friend. They were together every day. Just before the drowning incident she said her mother was visiting her in her dreams every night.”
