Bobbi Kristina Brown’s autopsy results have been released, and her cause of death is saddening, and very similar to the same way her mother, Whitney Houston died. The Fulton County Medical Examiner revealed that drug intoxication and immersion in a bathtub of water led to her untimely death. Eerily enough, these details have been revealed on what would have been Brown’s 23rd birthday.
The drugs found in Brown’s system were marijuana, alcohol, benzoylecgonine (a cocaine-related substance), and benzodiazepines (medications used for sedation or to treat anxiety) and morphine. The medical examiner’s office stated, “It could not be determined from toxicology tests whether the morphine resulted from heroin use.”
They also released the following statement, “Death was clearly not due to natural causes, but the medical examiner has not been able to determine whether death was due to intentional or accidental causes, and has therefore classified the manner of death as undetermined.”
In July 2015, Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her Atlanta home. She was immediately rushed to the hospital and placed on life support. She remained in hospice for six months before passing away.
