The pair of football enthusiasts turned rap tandem have just released their new project No Rules 2. Sonically, the effort encapsulates that frenetic sound many have become accustomed to when it comes to the L.A. rap scene.
Most recently, the duo dropped a new music video for “Can I”, a catchy bop from their latest LP that possesses a distinctive vibe, something that you’d hear on a solo mission while bumping Radio Los Santos — yes, the popular Hip-Hop station initially introduced in GTA San Andreas.
BlueBucksClan, comprised of DJ and Jeeezy — no, not the snowman — have taken their passion for the gridiron and translated this same energy to the recording booth. With notching placement on Apple Music’s Top 200 Hip-Hop/Rap albums list since releasing No Rules 2, its been all gas, no brakes. However, charting success isn’t enough, or having your song lyrics tweeted by Kevin Durant and Shoreline Mafia’s Ohgeesy. BlueBucksClan isn’t seeking clout, they’re penning the soundtrack to everyday life through the eyes of two L.A. players.
