It’s been seven years since Birdman has released a solo project. But the Cash Money CEO is ready to get back on track, and has announced that he will be releasing an album this summer titled, “Ms. Gladys” (Ms. Gladys is Baby’s deceased mother). Baby revealed the news via Instagram writing, “#june🔥SUMMER new album #MSGLADYS #CASHMONEYRICHGANG #STUNNAMAN.” Fans seemed to be overjoyed that Baby is dropping new material, and flooded his comments writing, “I can’t wait tiil dis shit drop👍🏾👍🏾👌🏿🔥🔥🔥”, and “Ms Gladys👸🏾💐salute @birdman5star”.
In addition, Birdman also announced that Rich Gang The Lifestyle 2 will be hitting store shelves in July. It’s unclear at this time who will be actually be featured on the album being that Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan, Drake, Lil Wayne, and Nicki Minaj have all distanced themselves from him. However, Jacquees seems to be Birdman’s newest money maker, so I’m sure he’ll play a huge role on the album.
Baby’s released his last solo album, Pricele$$, in 2009.
