Things are looking up for Birdman and Lil Wayne. A couple of weeks ago the duo brought in 2016 together at Drake’s New Year’s party at E11EVEN nightclub. Last night, they reunited once again at Club LIV in Miami where they partied together like the old days.
With Wayne by his side, Birdman took the stage to declare his love for his long lost son stating, “This my motherf*ckin’ son and I’ma die for him, I’ma live for him, and I’ll motherf*ckin’ kill for him, ya heard me? That ain’t gon’ never change. It’s YMCMB for life.” 2015 was a tumultuous year for Birdman and Weezy, it’s nice to see them taking steps towards mending their friendship.
In an interview with Angie Martinez, Birdman revealed that things were not as bad between him and Wayne as they appeared to be stating, “It’s not considered bad to me. I think media makes it worse than it really is. In due time we gon’ [reconcile], but this ain’t the place or the time to do that. My son respect me enough [that] if I call him and tell him I’m about to pull up, he gon’ open that gate, I’m goin in that house, we gon talk.” Looks like Birdman was right.
