With Detroit 2 on the way, Big Sean rewards listeners with a new single from his highly-anticipated LP.
The Detroit player’s fifth studio album is slated to release next month. The news comes shortly after Sean announced that the recording sessions for his new LP had finished, one step closer to fans receiving a follow up to 2012’s lauded Detroit effort.
In advance of Sean’s Sept. 4 release date, social media was sent into a virtual state of elation once news surfaced that a Nipsey Hussle feature was looming in the foreseeable future. Titled ‘Deep Reverence’, the introspective strain finds Sean in his most natural state, lyrically speaking, clearing up old rumors while also spotlighting the distress that comes with fame.
Naturally, Sean is a wordsmith — having this tendency to structure sentences in a way that makes people think with a heightened sense of awareness, always circling back to the bigger picture.
