Who run’s the world? Queen B does, and she’s looking for a new generation of girls to help her do just that. The six time Grammy Award winner is looking to sign two sisters from Los Angeles, Chloe Bailey, 17, and Halle Bailey, 15. Bey is also looking to sign 14 year old Sophie Beem of New York, to her Parkwood Entertainment Company. Beyonce is asking a Manhattan judge to approve the five year deals, which is a requirement because the girls are minors. If the judge approves, Beyonce will recieve fifteen percent of the sisters’ gross earnings. Parkwood Entertainment Company is a management and media company founded by Beyonce in 2008.
Beem snatched up a $560,000 contract after impressing Parkwood executives. She was also one of the top 40 finalist on The X-Factor back in 2012. It has been reported that Beem is not quite “ready to begin recording music.” Therefore, Parkwood has decided to take a different route with Beem. According to court documents, “Parkwood Music believes that Sophie’s music will be best showcased with a band.”
The Bailey sisters father, Douglas Bailey stated that his daughter’s “have been singing, dancing and acting together since they were toddlers”. The two talented beauties have written hundreds of songs and even appeared in movies such as Meet The Browns, Last Holiday, and Let It Shine.
But what caught Queen B’s attention the most was their cover of her new song “Pretty Hurts”, which went viral with 10 million views. Check out these two phenomenal singers in the video below!
