The Beyhive must be frantic right now. Only 3 days after kicking off her Formation World Tour in Miami, King B has thrown in the towel for her upcoming concert in Nashville, Tennessee.
Beyonce has yet to reveal why she cancelled the show, but a rep from her team released the following statement, “Following Wednesday’s sold out opening night Formation World Tour concert in Miami, promoters Live Nation announced that the Nashville concert previously scheduled for Thursday, May 5 will be rescheduled. Details about the rescheduled date will be announced shortly and Nashville tickets holders are advised to retain their tickets which will be honored at the rescheduled event.”
The show was supposed to take place at Nissan Stadium, which is home to the Tennessee Titans. Stories have surfaced claiming that the stadium is currently undergoing major renovations, making it impossible for Bey to perform there, however, the Nissan Stadium’s official Twitter account tweeted, “Nissan Stadium was ready and able to host the May 5 Beyoncé show, and we look forward to the rescheduled event.”
Beyonce released her sixth studio album, Lemonade, for online streaming through Tidal on April 23.
