Benzino Pleads Guilty In Felony Drug Case

by Yellah Bone

Benzino receives two years of probation.

In January 2017, Benzino was arrested and police raided his home and found over twenty grams of THC gummies, six MDMA pills, and less than an ounce of marijuana. At the time, he posted $12,000 bail, and his legal team claimed that the search and seizure was illegal.

It appears now that the “Rock The Party” rapper has plead guilty to all three charges that he was facing, but fortunately won’t spend anytime behind bars. Today, he was sentenced to two years of probation, and fined $500 with additional surcharges.

If Benzino had been convicted on all charges, he would’ve faced up to 15 years in prison. Via Instagram, the former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta reality star celebrated his victory in court, “That look when you win a great judgement in court!!! I think I deserve a snickers!! 🍫💪🏽😎 IT’S FINALLY OVER!! FREE AS 🕊 #benzino #blessed #happy #positivevibes #godisworking.”
