Surprisingly, Nicki Minaj, 33, and Meek Mill have been an item for quite some time now. What we all thought was a publicity stunt, actually turned out to be true love. As much as Nicki loves the 28 year old “Amen” rapper, she has admitted in the past that she won’t be having any babies anytime soon, especially without a ring on her finger. However, during the duration of Nik and Meek’s relationship, Nik has received two enormous rings from him, sparking rumors that they would be walking down the aisle pretty soon.
A couple of weeks ago, Nicki sat down with Billboard Magazine and revealed some answers to questions that we’ve all been waiting for stating, “He and I are not engaged. But he said he would like to give me three rings before we get married. My birthday’s coming up, and he better get the new one, because he got [the first one] for my last birthday. So let’s see what happens.”
But it seems as though Nik has had a change of heart, and is looking to speed things up a bit (This may have something to do with the fact that Meek could potentially be facing more jail time next year). The “Only” rapper took to Twitter yesterday to ask her fans to help her decide between a beach wedding or a church wedding. Most of Nicki’s fans chose a beach wedding. Hopefully, Nicki isn’t just playing with our heads.
Meek Mill will be sentenced in February.
