BJ The Chicago Kid Is Reclaiming His Time With Seductive New Single “Time Today”

by Derrius Edwards

Four-time Grammy-nominated recording artist BJ The Chicago Kid releases the first single off his forthcoming Sophomore LP project entitled Time Today.

This track is nothing short of a lover’s serenade that compliments the smooth vibes transmitted over BJ’s indicative soprano.

Expressing the desire to make appropriate accommodations within scheduling to appease his significant other with bawdy remarks that insinuate he’s going to take care of her every need and want, BJ is quite the aficionado when it comes to the laws of love.

As expressed in lines such as, “You and me to the spot, I’ll make coffee drop/I’ll be dippin’ in your honeypot, throw away the clock/Cause’ I got time today”, BJ is evidently confident in his abilities and assuring that time will not be wasted, but instead invested in granting complete fulfillment.

The soul-infused virtuoso has long solidified his position in music. Snagging some genre-defining collaborations with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Solange, Travis Scott, Chance The Rapper, Common and many more artists.

One particular accolade added to BJ’s profound resume includes his acquisition to perform the National Anthem at President Barack Obama’s farewell address. A true testament to not only his musical favor, but also his natural character.

Time Today is the ideal preview for his long-awaited studio project and this track continues the personified narrative set forth by BJ’s musical catalog.
