Tommy Genesis’ album has arrived.
After teasing the project for quite some time, Tommy Genesis’ self-titled debut studio album has arrived. Laced with 12 songs, previously released tracks include “Bad Boy”, “Daddy”, “100 Bad”, and “Tommy.” The new body of work serves as Genesis’ first full effort since 2015’s World Vision.
The Vancouver artist released the following statement about her new album to Flaunt, “The overarching feeling I would say is adrenaline mixed in with emotion. The first half is super adrenaline; the transitions and everything cut really close.”
“And then the second half is a little more emotional and vulnerable, but also kind of cheeky. To me, when I think about it, I see a lot of blues with splashes of red. Those were the concept colors. It’s like water. It goes really crazy sometimes, like waves, and other times it’s just calm, like me. It’s my self-reflection album.”
