Last night, MTV kicked off their annual VMA’s, and let’s just say it was a night to remember. Nicki Minaj opened the show up with “Trini Dem Girls” before Taylor Swift joined her onstage for “The Night Is Still Young” and “Bad Blood”. It was very clear that the two stars had buried the hatchet and put the beef behind them.
Other memorable moments of the night included Kanye West’ announcement that he was running for president in 2020, Nicki Minaj calling out this years host, Miley Cyrus, for criticizing her at a recent interview with The New York Times, and Fetty Wap winning the Artist To Watch award. Presenters included Britney Spears, Rebel Wilson, Ice Cube, John Legend, Kylie Jenner, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Rita Ora, Ne-Yo, Miguel, Emily Ratajkowski, Jussie Smollet and Serayah.
