Your favorite Aussie is under the microscope once again. The past year has been tough for Iggy Azalea who has made the headlines regarding everything from her making racial slurs, cancelling her “Great Escape Tour”, and plastic surgery rumors. But most recent news of Iggy Azalea being a heroin addict tops them all. A publication has claimed that a new photo of Iggy shows the 25 year old rapper with track-marks on her hands. It didn’t take long before Iggy caught wind of the odd story and seemed just as shocked as we were to find out that she was struggling with a heroin addiction.
The “Fancy” rapper took to her Twitter to clear the rumors up tweeting, “Just landed in australia and iam dying with laughter because nicks just showed me an article that says im a heroin addict. WHAT?! LOL.” and “could be injecting heroin into my hands…. OR could just be scratches from @AleHerself’s evil cat that attacked me the other week.”. So there you have it, Iggy is NOT an addict, and the scratches are simply from her friend’s cat. We have no reason not to believe Iggy, it’s not like we’ve ever even seen her smoking a J.
The rumors haven’t stopped Iggy from enjoying a trip back home to Sydney with her fiance Nick Young. Shortly after addressing the rumors she tweeted, “Nicks having trouble adjusting, but im ready to go out. #HiAustralia.” On June 1st Young proposed to Iggy at his birthday bash and surprised her with a beautiful ring worth an estimated $500,000.
