50 Cent and two members of his entourage have been accused of beating up and robbing a Los Angeles jeweler of $250,000 worth of jewelry. This incident occured during the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight weekend in Las Vegas. Jeweler Robert Marin told authorities he met 50 Cent at Drai’s Nightclub where he showed the rapper a chain and Rolex watch that he was interested in purchasing.
The two businessmen negotiated a price for the jewelry and that was when Fif invited Marin to go see Mayweather’s training gym. When they arrived, things took a turn for the worst. Marin claims he was pistol whipped and robbed of the two pieces he was going to sell to 50 Cent by two men who fled after taking the items. Shortly after, Marin filed a report with the Las Vegas Police Department who are now investigating.
50 Cent’s lawyer, Scott Leemon denies all claims made by Marin, and says there is no truth to any parts of his story. He stated, “On behalf of 50, I can adamantly deny that he or his security had anything to do with these baseless and false allegations.”
