50 Cent has received approval from Big Meech to bring his story to the big screen.

50 Cent’s tv series “Power” has been an absolute success on the Starz Network, so it’s only right that the Hip Hop mogul keep up the great work. For his latest venture, Fif is looking to create a series based on the Black Mafia Family, which was a large drug trafficking organization located in Detroit.

However, he’s received some backlash from producer L.T. Hutton, who is currently working on the Tupac Shakur biopic movie, All Eyez on Me. Apparently, Hutton acquired the film rights to the story a few years back, and feels that 50 is stepping on his toes. But when has 50 ever cared about anyone’s feelings?

In order to move forward with his project, 50 needed approval from one person – B.M.F. co-founder, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory. While many have doubted the entire idea, Big Meech wholeheartedly gave 50 Cent and Emmett his permission to produce the show.

Via Instagram, Fif shared the handwritten letter that he received from Meech. According to Meech, he feels that 50 and Randall are the “perfect team” to tell his story. He also made it clear that he never gave anyone permission to create a series about his life, nor the Black Mafia Family.

Meech is currently serving a 30 year prison sentence.
