In 2007, 50 Cent put his 21-bedroom, 9 kitchen, 25-bath Connecticut estate on the market for $18.5 million, and has been gradually reducing the asking price ever since.

With no potential leads for almost a decade, a buyer finally came forward and purchased the 50,000 square foot mansion for $8 million. That’s lets than half of Fif’s original asking price, but I’m sure that he is happy to have the mansion taken off of his hands and move forward in bankruptcy court. The buyer plans on making it into a lavish retirement home as long as the town approves. 50’s loss could lighten up a few elderly folks’ life.

50 purchased the massive estate from boxer Mike Tyson in 2003 for $4.1 million dollars. He then spent an additional $6 million on renovation, installing a helicopter pad, infinity pool and a private cinema. The 52 room home is also laced with a private casino, gym, racquetball courts, and disco room with stripper poles.

It cost him $70,000 a month to keep the mansion up and running.
