2 Chainz may be forced to rake out $5 million dollars for coming out of his mouth wrong. A woman named Christine Chisolm was invited backstage at a 2 Chainz concert by one of his friends, rapper Cap 1 on March 20, 2014. While backstage, Chisolm was repeatedly referred to as a “thot” (which is an acronym for “that hoe over here”) by the “I’m Different” rapper.
The entire incident was captured on video, and posted online 2 weeks later. The video went viral with more than 10 million views, causing Chisolm to lose her job at a barbershop because her boss thought the video would bring negative publicity to the shop. She also claims that the incident caused her to be a target to harassment and abuse in public, and has ruined her reputation entirely.
Chisolm wants $5,000,000 in damages.
The original video was removed, but a repost of the video has been viewed more than 500,000 times.
