You Won’t Believe Why Weezy’s Tour Bus Was Shot Up Last Month

On April 26, Lil Wayne’s tour bus was shot up after leaving a performance at Compound nightclub in Atlanta. At the time, we all speculated that Young Thug had played a role in the incident due to his ongoing petty beef with Wayne. According to Cobb County Police, the shooting was gang related and had nothing to do with Thugger or any of his goons.

A 25 year old Blood affiliate named Jimmy Carlton Winfrey has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting. Winfrey says he fired the shots “to gain street cred” for “committing a high profile shooting of a rival rap artist”. Wait a minute, isn’t Weezy a Blood? I’m a little confused, but I’ll proceed.

Luckily, no one was injured during the incident, but Winfrey has been slapped with a slew of charges including aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts, criminal damage, possession of a firearm by a felon, criminal gang activity, reckless conduct and discharging a weapon near the street. Winfrey also caused $20,000 worth of damage to the tour buses, so I’m sure he will have to pay restitution as well.

I wonder if the street cred was worth this fool’s freedom.
